The skin is the body’s largest and most intelligent organ. It is a living boundary between inner and outer world.

It breathes , senses and communicates long before we do. When the mind is calm , skin reflects clarity.

But when the mind is stressed , it responds by triggering immune response through cortisol and cytokines ,altering the skins natural defence system , leading to inflammation, sensitivity and slower repair.

In Ayurveda , it is described as Agni (fire) losing its balance.
